




Job Summary: We are seeking passionate Head Chefs with expertise in charcoal-grilling to lead the team of a new Mediterranean restaurant in Valencia, ensuring quality and operational management. Paid prior training and a career development plan within an established group. **Head Chef — New Opening: Linaje Restaurant (Valencia)** At Grupo Gómez, we are launching **Linaje**, a new Mediterranean restaurant focused especially on premium ingredients and charcoal-grilling. We are building the kitchen from scratch and seeking **2 Head Chefs** to help lead the team from day one. We are a Valencia-based hospitality and events group founded in 1989, with over 300 employees and a very specific work philosophy: consistency, ingredient quality, and human-centered service. Therefore, prior to the opening, **you will undergo paid training for 1–2 months across our existing venues**, so you become fully familiar with our methods before launch. **Your Responsibilities** * Lead and organize Linaje’s kitchen: team, stations, and service * Master charcoal-grilling and ensure product quality in every dish * Manage costs, inventories, waste, and standardized recipes (BOMs) * Train and motivate the team while maintaining high performance during high-volume services * Ensure compliance with the group’s quality and hygiene standards **What We’re Looking For** * Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Head Chef leading teams * Strong technical skills and passion for charcoal-grilling, with deep respect for ingredients * Proficiency in cost management and tools such as Yurest or similar * Excellent organizational ability and composure under pressure * Prior involvement in a restaurant opening is a valuable plus (but not mandatory) **What We Offer** * Permanent contract and consolidated salary from day one * Gross annual salary of €24,000–€26,000, depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives * Paid pre-opening training to ensure smooth integration before launch * Daily staff meal included * Free gym access starting from month 18 * Intensive shifts * A genuine career development path within one of Valencia’s fastest-growing hospitality groups * Stability and backing from a group with over 35 years of experience At Grupo Gómez, we don’t hire CVs—we hire people with hunger and soul.
