Description
The position focuses on the repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment and electrical installations within a water treatment plant. These tasks are essential to ensure the plant's continuous operation and include both corrective and scheduled preventive maintenance work. Interventions will be carried out on motors, pumps, motor-generators, and turbo-compressors, including fault diagnosis, disassembly of defective components, and coordination of their repair with internal or external workshops. Electrical components such as contactors, relays, and switches will also be replaced, and mechanical failures—such as pump seal ruptures—will be repaired.
Each day, scheduled inspections of all electrical installations will be conducted to detect anomalies in a timely manner. Preventive tasks include lubricating equipment and replacing worn-out parts to extend asset service life and prevent unplanned shutdowns. Another key aspect of the role is document management: work reports must be completed in computerized maintenance management systems, recording actions performed, spare parts used, and time spent.
The position entails full-time employment under a temporary substitution contract, compliant with applicable legal requirements. Versatility to undertake additional complementary tasks, as required by plant needs, will be valued.
A minimum academic qualification of a Level 2 Vocational Training Certificate in Electrotechnical Installations is required, complemented by over four years of practical experience in maintaining electromechanical installations. A valid driver's license is mandatory; additional knowledge in areas such as masonry, complex fault repair, supply connection installation, and maintenance of wastewater and water supply networks is considered advantageous.
