It’s all here, so take a closer look! **Together we do what** **matters** **What** **you’ll** **do** * Support project teams in developing solutions for Avanade’s clients driven by exploratory data analysis * Devise solutions to client business problems that leverage data\-driven analytical techniques * Execute practical predictive analytics, machine learning and data mining techniques * Develop and interpret statistical models * And other responsibilities as assigned Qualification * Data scientists with deep understanding of business issues faced by our clients and consulting experience with significant client impact and value creation * Advanced statistics software (SAS, SPSS, R) and advanced modelling techniques (statistical modelling methods, time series, text mining and optimization) to solve business problems * Microsoft Professional Program Certificate in Data Science * Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Cloudera, NoSQL, Cassandra, Pig) * Software development skills in one or more high\-level languages (C\#/C/C\+\+/Java/F\#), one or more scripting languages (Python/Perl/Shell) * Experience with AWS or Azure and data querying tools (SQL and visualization tools, Tableau, Qlikview ) **About you** Characteristics that can spell success for this role * Consultative, collaborative, relationship builder * Resilient, adaptable, flexible * Intellectually curious and passionate about tech * Convincing storyteller and engaging content creator
