**What will your responsibilities be?**
As a Department Manager, you’ll lead a store department with the goal of maximizing sales and delivering an excellent shopping experience. You’ll be responsible for planning commercial strategies, ensuring visual and operational standards, and managing stock to meet the expectations of people visiting the store.
In addition, you’ll coordinate and assign tasks to your team, providing guidance and feedback to develop their skills, while maintaining their motivation and commitment. You’ll collaborate with other managers to foster a safe, organized, and efficient work environment, resolving queries or issues and ensuring compliance with company policies.
**How would we like you to be?**
We’re looking for someone with leadership skills who inspires and guides their team toward high performance, encouraging collaboration and learning. We value a clear commercial vision and analytical ability to make strategic decisions and optimize departmental resources.
Resilience is essential — you must be able to manage challenges effectively, and possess strong communication and empathy skills to build solid relationships. Prior retail experience is required, ideally in high-volume environments, leading teams and achieving targets. If you’re seeking growth within a dynamic company, this role is for you.
As a company in full expansion, our needs are spread across the country, and we aim for our teams to gain exposure to various business units to support their professional progression — therefore, geographical flexibility will be an essential requirement for your development if you join the company.
If you join Primark as a Department Manager, we will positively consider completion of studies related to commercial management, administration, sales, etc.
A good level of English is important; we will also value any other languages you speak, including sign language. Please don’t forget to mention them — they’ll help us deliver outstanding service to our customers.
