Hotel Vistabella 5 – Roses (Girona), Costa Brava Gastronomic Restaurant Els Brancs / El Pirata Club At Hotel Vistabella 5\*, a benchmark establishment on the Costa Brava, we are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our gastronomic restaurant Els Brancs and our Beach Club El Pirata, specializing in Mediterranean and signature cuisine, within an environment of excellence, stability, and teamwork. Job Description The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall kitchen management, both culinary and operational, ensuring compliance with the hotel’s quality standards, organization, and philosophy. Key Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate the kitchen team (8–10 people). * Prepare and supervise dishes according to established recipes, technical sheets, and standards. * Manage the purchasing department, suppliers, and price negotiations. * Control stock levels, inventories, and costs. * Organize shifts, plan, and oversee operational service execution. * Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations (HACCP). * Collaborate closely with Hotel Management and other departments. Candidate Profile * Proven, substantial experience as Executive Chef, preferably in high-end gastronomic restaurants or luxury hotels. * Humble, adaptable, and team-oriented individual. * We seek a professional capable of integrating into an established project while respecting the restaurant’s culinary identity. * Strong managerial skills, with knowledge of cost control, procurement, and supplier management. * Demonstrated leadership, organizational ability, and sense of responsibility.
