Within this business line, Schneider operates one of the world's largest prefabricated data center manufacturing plants in Barcelona, serving major cloud and service providers across Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
The BCN plant specializes in ETO (Engineering to Order) solutions for the Secure Power Division, primarily prefabricated data centers and power modules, offering an end-to-end solution composed entirely of Schneider components—from the quotation and solution definition phase through to commissioning at the customer's site and subsequent maintenance planning.
Description:
In a context of exponential business growth and expansion of our facilities, we are seeking a highly autonomous and motivated professional to join this strategic project. You will become part of an 8-member logistics team led by one Team Leader, responsible for coordinating material management within the plant and supporting the Production team in their tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commitment to both personal and collective safety on site
* Management of a picking team of 2\-3 people
* Support in warehouse management (inventory, FIFO, scrap, etc.)
* Resource management according to needs, ensuring capacity and service delivery
* Coordination of production timelines to avoid stoppages. Within this scope:
+ Implementation of RF technology
+ Management of BOM requirements versus delivery dates
+ Just-in-Time material delivery scheduling to the Production team, aligned with production phases
+ Review and coordination of materials assigned per Manufacturing Order
+ Comparison between BOM requirements and system-recorded consumption
+ Stock regularization per project
* Results-oriented mindset and achievement focus
* Definition and monitoring of KPIs
Requirements:
* Team management experience
* Demonstrable 3\-5 years of experience in a similar role
* Forklift operator license
* Overhead crane operator license (not mandatory)
* Experience in logistics processes over the past 3 years
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, office software tools, and continuous improvement
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially intermediate-level Excel (PivotTables, workbook linking, etc.)
* ERP Oracle knowledge and usage experience is desirable
