Ability to detect quality deviations and respond quickly. **EXTRUSION OPERATOR** *JOB DESCRIPTION:* * Plastic film (polyethylene) extrusion operator. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Complete the required production reports as indicated by production planning. * Machine setup. * Preparation of components on the machine. * Review of all parameters. * Component replacement whenever necessary. * Quality controls and completion of related documentation. * Computerized entry of produced stock. * Cleaning and organizing the machine and work area. *REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:* * Knowledge of extrusion. * Compliance with established quality requirements for the finished product, detecting possible deviations and providing a rapid and effective response to minimize production of material failing to meet quality criteria. * Adherence to established production output targets. * Good communication with operators on the same production line during shift handover, ensuring incidents occurring during one's shift are not repeated. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * Mechanical or electromechanical training is highly valued.* * Plastic film extrusion courses. * Extrusion experience is preferred.
