**We are looking for a Cook!** At **Hotel Yarmar** (Fuengirola, Málaga), we have an opportunity for you. We want to welcome a **Cook** to our team to serve our hotel guests. Your mission will be to ensure they enjoy exceptional service, in line with our quality standards. **What we offer** **Competitive salary**: Salary according to collective agreement **Positive atmosphere**: A great team and an excellent working climate. **Professional growth**: We invest in your development within the industry. **Main responsibilities:** * Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards. * Prepare daily mise en place to ensure agile and efficient service. * Cook fish, seafood, rice dishes, meats, salads, and other Mediterranean cuisine specialties. * Monitor cooking times and ensure proper dish presentation. * Guarantee compliance with hygiene regulations, food safety standards, and the HACCP system. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen and work areas. * Monitor correct food storage, preservation, and rotation (FIFO). * Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing goods. * Report requirements for restocking products and raw materials. * Minimize food waste through efficient ingredient usage. * Collaborate with the Head Chef in developing menu suggestions and improving the gastronomic offering. * Coordinate closely with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service. * Achieve quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets. * Adapt to high seasonal workload volumes while maintaining service quality.
