Identify and lead continuous improvement projects ### **Summary** \~Responsible for site Master Data processes aimed at ensuring accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data in the ERP system, in compliance with local and global requirements. \~The material planner leads the tactical procurement process for all materials to ensure material availability and feasibility of the execution plan in accordance with the site’s inventory policy. ### **About the Role** Major Accountabilities \~ Master Data \~ Set up and execute complex local and global master data configurations and establish processes, guidelines, corporate matrices, and SLA timelines in a GxP environment in accordance with Novartis compliance requirements. \~ Serve as Subject Matter Expert in the assigned functional area \~ Support data collection and KPI reporting \~ Logistics, WAndD \~ Ensure all logistics processes proceed timely, with high quality, efficiency, and effectiveness, and in full compliance with all laws and supply chain management policies and procedures. Identify and lead continuous improvement projects. \~ Report technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt \~ Distribution of marketing samples (if applicable) \~ Ensure daily MRP supervision for all BOM materials, requirement analysis, and purchase order management. \~ Ensure daily MRP exception message handling and appropriate follow-up. \~ Own, within the ERP system, MRP-relevant data and material technical specifications, and ensure no purchase orders expire in the ERP system. \~ Manage supplier complaints/returns for purchased items. \~ Provide a balanced shipping list for incoming materials to the warehouse and Quality department to ensure these activities are completed in line with production requirements. \~ Monitor and follow up on supplier service level indicators: OTIF quality, lead-time violation. \~ Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and promote continuous improvement. \~ Order Management \~ Execute intercompany orders between customers and sites (including monitoring order completion, change requests, and invoice issuance) \~ Provide guidance and system support for returns, discounts, and credit/debit notes \~ Define and prioritize physical deliveries in collaboration with other functions (e.g., LEX) for third-party customers and interdivisional supplies \~ Serve as SPOC for escalation issues for assigned customers \~ Influence and connect stakeholders to accelerate resolution of (system-related) issues \~ Material Planner Key Performance Indicators \~Responsible for site Master Data processes aimed at ensuring accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data in the ERP system, in compliance with local and global requirements. \~The material planner leads the tactical procurement process for all materials to ensure material availability and feasibility of the execution plan in accordance with the site’s inventory policy.
