Managing logistics, warehouse, and distribution processes ### **Summary** \~ Responsible for site master data processes, aiming to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data in the ERP system according to local and global requirements. \~ The Material Planner drives tactical procurement processes for all materials to ensure material availability and feasibility of execution plans in alignment with site inventory policies. ### **About the Role** Major Accountabilities \~ Master Data \~ Set up and execute complex local and global master data configurations within a GxP environment, and establish processes, guidelines, business matrices, and SLA schedules to comply with Novartis compliance requirements. \~ Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned functional areas \~ Support data collection and reporting for KPIs \~ Logistics, WAndD \~ Ensure all logistics processes are executed timely, with high quality, efficiency, and effectiveness, fully complying with all legal and supply chain management policies and procedures. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives. \~ Report technical complaints/adverse events/special circumstances related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt \~ Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable) \~ Ensure daily MRP monitoring, demand analysis, and purchase order management for all BOM materials. \~ Ensure daily MRP exception messages are managed and appropriately followed up. \~ Own MRP-related data and material technical specifications in the ERP system, and ensure no overdue purchase orders exist in the ERP system. \~ Manage supplier complaints/returns for purchased goods. \~ Provide balanced shipping lists for incoming materials to warehouse and quality departments to ensure these activities are completed per production requirements. \~ Monitor and follow up on supplier service level indicators: Quality OTIF, delivery schedule violations. \~ Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and drive continuous improvement. \~ Order Management \~ Intercompany order fulfillment between customers and sites (including monitoring order completion, change requests, and invoice generation) \~ Provide guidance and system support for returns, rebates, and credit/debit notes \~ Collaborate with other functions (e.g., LEX) to define and prioritize physical deliveries for third-party customers and cross-functional supply \~ Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to handle escalated issues from assigned customers \~ Influence and engage relevant stakeholders to accelerate resolution of (system) issues \~ Material Planner Key Performance Indicators \~ Responsible for site master data processes, aiming to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data in the ERP system according to local and global requirements. \~ The Material Planner drives tactical procurement processes for all materials to ensure material availability and feasibility of execution plans in alignment with site inventory policies.
