You’ll play a key role in efficiently, orderly, and strategically aligned category management, contributing to agile and well-informed decision-making. Your role will be fundamental in guaranteeing that all product information, pricing, and terms remain up to date; that campaigns are correctly deployed; and that relationships with suppliers and internal departments run smoothly. **1\. Administrative and operational support:** * You’ll manage documentation related to purchasing activities (contracts, agreements, product onboarding and offboarding). * You’ll keep internal systems updated (prices, codes, descriptions, formats, and commercial terms). * You’ll prepare reports and tracking dashboards for the buyer (sales, margins, volumes, and product turnover). * You’ll coordinate with other departments (logistics, marketing, quality, stores) to ensure correct implementation of changes and commercial actions. **2\. Monitoring and control** * You’ll track purchase orders and supplier delivery deadlines. * You’ll verify that agreed commercial terms (prices, discounts, rebates, promotions) are correctly applied. * You’ll identify deviations or incidents and escalate them to the buyer for resolution. * You’ll support incident management related to products, services, or invoicing. **3\. Support for campaigns and promotions** * You’ll prepare and validate necessary information for campaigns, promotional actions, and offers. * You’ll coordinate the introduction of new products and the discontinuation of obsolete or delisted items. * You’ll ensure promotions and special conditions are correctly loaded into systems and visible to stores. **4\. Supplier communication** * You’ll maintain contact with suppliers for routine administrative matters (documentation, confirmations, invoices). * You’ll support resolution of minor incidents, ensuring fluid and organized communication. * You’ll collaborate with the buyer to maintain a professional and efficient relationship with suppliers. **WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?** * Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Administration, Logistics, Planning, Commercial Management, or related fields. * Prior experience in administrative tasks, purchasing, logistics, or supporting commercial teams is desirable. * Strong judgment and analytical skills to understand data, processes, and identify incidents. * Communication and negotiation skills, especially when interacting with suppliers and internal teams. * Organizational ability and attention to detail, rigorously managing information.
