Taste Bistro is part of the TASTE CANARIAS family – an established name in Arguineguín’s gastronomy since 2014\.
Our concept offers well-crafted, seasonal, and creative bistro food in a relaxed and welcoming setting. We prepare all our food from scratch: we bake our own bread, make oils, sauces, and preserves – with a strong commitment to zero waste and sustainability across the entire business.
**About the position:**
We are looking for a chef with at least 2 years of experience and a strong desire to grow professionally. You enjoy working with fresh ingredients, care about quality, and thrive in a structured, fast-paced kitchen environment.
You are also seeking a long-term position within a serious company offering genuine development and career opportunities.
**Main responsibilities:**
* Prepare and cook dishes according to our bistro concept and seasonal menu
* Collaborate in developing new dishes and menus
* Maintain structure, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen (HACCP)
* Work sustainably and respectfully with ingredients and resources
Your profile
**We are looking for someone who:**
* Has at least 2 years of experience as a chef
* Is motivated and eager to grow professionally
* Is detail-oriented, responsible, and solution-focused
* Enjoys working in a dynamic, team-based kitchen environment
* Has basic English comprehension (desirable)
* Knowledge of Spanish or other languages will be valued
* Holds all legal documentation required to work in Spain / Gran Canaria (mandatory)
* Is prepared to work shifts primarily in the afternoons, weekends, and holidays
