Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Responsible Storage & Backup to lead the department, design, administer, and optimize storage and backup solutions. Key Highlights: 1. At Prosegur, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Responsible Storage & Backup. The position is based in Madrid and offers a hybrid work model (combining remote work with office attendance). **What will be your mission?** You will be responsible for the Storage & Backup department and all its members. You will manage the team and produce the necessary reports for the management layer. You will also be responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing storage and backup solutions, ensuring the availability, integrity, and efficient recovery of the organization’s critical information. **What will be your responsibilities?** * Manage SAN, NAS, and SDS storage platforms. * Design and implement backup and recovery strategies. * Conduct periodic restoration and business continuity tests. * Monitor storage capacity, performance, and replication. * Ensure data security and data lifecycle management. * Liaise with vendors. * Manage external teams subcontracted for storage and backup. **What are we looking for?** * Degree in Computer Engineering, IT Specialist, or related field. * Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT, including administration of storage arrays, retention policies, disaster recovery, data protection compliance management, and deduplication knowledge. * Minimum 2 years’ experience managing teams. * Proficiency/knowledge of the following tools: Dell EMC, Azure Backup, Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, HPE 3PAR/Primera. * Minimum B2 level English.
