Within DEKRA’s Connectivity department, we conduct comprehensive testing of mobile devices on live networks and state-of-the-art laboratories, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with legal requirements, standards, and regulations.**Your Role:** As a Field Test Technician, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and analyzing results for verification, validation, and certification projects, delivering test reports, incident analysis, statistical conclusions, and recommendations. You will interact daily with customers, test engineers, project leaders, and other internal DEKRA functions. **Key Responsibilities** **The main activities of the Field Test Technician include:** * Performing product and system testing under real laboratory or field conditions, delivering daily results. * Analyzing data using statistical tools and presenting clear information to the team. * Supporting OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and network operators in troubleshooting wireless issues. * Participating in the development of automation tools, scripts, and new test setups to improve processes and add customer value. * Developing knowledge of products, services, and customer needs; maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. * Drafting interim and final reports, and conducting meaningful meetings with customers and teams. **Corporate Benefits and Additional Information:** * Intensive summer and Christmas working schedules, as well as every Friday throughout the year. * Working hours: Monday to Friday with flexible start times. * Opportunity to participate in corporate benefits: Private medical insurance, meal vouchers, possibility to teach English classes… * Discounts with major brands: Apparel, consumer goods, leisure, electronics, travel agencies… * Continuous and specialized training provided by the organization. * Position located in Málaga. * Employment type: Permanent. * Remote work: Possibility of hybrid remote work after successful completion of the probation period. **Required Qualifications and Competencies:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Telecommunications or equivalent vocational training. * Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, or similar. * Languages: Spanish and English (B2). * Customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. * Organizational ability and attention to detail. * International travel availability for extended periods is mandatory, as well as no restrictions on entering countries regularly visited, such as the United States, Canada, European Union countries, and the Middle East. **Desirable Experience** * Experience in field testing, cellular communications (2G/3G/4G/5G), automation, scripting, and programming.
