Position Summary: We are seeking a nurse to provide comprehensive care to residents in a senior care facility, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and performing wound dressings, with possible coordination of care. We offer a nursing position (ATS/DUE) at a senior care residence in Vélez\-Málaga. Responsibilities include comprehensive user care: administering medications as prescribed, monitoring vital signs, performing wound dressings and repositioning, and supervising personal hygiene. The role also involves preparing medical supplies, documenting in clinical records, and collaborating with the physiotherapy team when necessary. On certain occasions, the professional may assume responsibilities for coordinating and supervising the care plan, always within their scope of competence. Additional duties include managing pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology orders, as well as caring for bedridden users—including enteral feeding and stoma care. The nurse is also responsible for trimming nails for diabetic patients or those undergoing anticoagulant therapy. Availability to work rotating shifts and adapt to the center’s needs is required. This position entails providing healthcare support both to residents and to center staff on matters within the nurse’s professional competence.
