We seek someone with strong mechanical knowledge, capable of diagnosing the turbine’s core components (gearboxes, generators, and bearings) and executing technical solutions both at height (up-tower) and at ground level. **Your Responsibilities:** * Precision inspections: Performing borescopes on gearboxes, generators, main bearings, and blade bearings * Major repairs: Executing up-tower and down-tower repairs of critical drive train components * Technical documentation: Preparing detailed post-inspection and post-repair reports * Self-management: Organizing your workday based on intervention planning and your annual hour bank. **What We’re Looking For:** * Education: Vocational Training (FP) in Maintenance, Mechanics, or related fields * Experience: Minimum 2 years in turbine maintenance (preferably Vestas or similar technology), with a focus on heavy mechanical work * Technical skills: Solid expertise in borescopy and gearbox repair * Languages: Sufficient English proficiency for reading and writing technical reports and communicating in an international environment * Mobility: Willingness to travel 50% of the time (typically weekly trips of 3–4 days with return home) * Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook for reporting **What Vestas Offers You:** True autonomy: Management based on your annual hour bank and self-organization of tasks Flexible Expense Management: You will receive a corporate card to cover your subsistence expenses and avoid personal advances.
