Purpose Accurately execute surveying activities and control to support the achievement of mining production plans. You play an essential role in the business by ensuring surveying information is reliable and up-to-date, facilitating strategic decision-making within site operations. Your primary challenge is to guarantee the accuracy and quality of surveying data under challenging geographic and high-altitude conditions, while balancing efficiency with strict safety and operational compliance requirements. You will manage resource and time constraints while collaborating with other teams to deliver expected outcomes. **In this role, your key responsibilities will include:** Executing surveying tasks in accordance with internal policies. Monitoring work to meet mining production plans. Updating surveying information regarding mining progress. Staking out and monitoring the construction of mining infrastructure. Monitoring dump and stockpile floor elevations. Performing monthly surveying reconciliations of extraction volumes. Carrying out high-complexity surveying control tasks. Strategically interfacing with Operations to facilitate informed decision-making. Who are we looking for? **Education:** Graduate of a Higher Technical Program in Surveying or related disciplines. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in surveying or geomatics within the mining industry or sectors related to natural resource extraction. **Knowledge:** In measurement and surveying update activities, control and staking of infrastructure at mining sites, preparation of surveying reports, and support in surface mining planning; proficiency in advanced surveying instrumentation (total stations, laser scanners, dual-frequency GPS, drones). Valid Class B driver’s license with over 3 years of seniority.
