Electromechanical Technician \- Wastewater Treatment Plant **Job Description** -------------------------- Do you want to work for a leading company in environmental services? Veolia Lecam, within its energy services division, is seeking to hire an Electromechanical Technician for Wastewater Treatment Plants (EDAR) in Alcoy (Valencia). Your main responsibility will be to carry out maintenance and operational tasks at water treatment plants: desalination plants and wastewater treatment plants. Other responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective electromechanical maintenance tasks (motors, automation systems, instrumentation and control, valves, gearmotors, mixers, electrical and pneumatic panels, etc.). * Carry out tasks on hydraulic installations; basic knowledge of plumbing and sanitation is desirable. * Perform surveillance, control, and cleaning tasks at water treatment plants, following instructions from the immediate supervisor. * Carry out parameter measurements for process control. Complete work orders and perform any other assigned tasks. * Supervise and prepare reagent solutions and dosing, following assigned work orders. * Supervise plant operations via distributed control system. * Collect water and sludge samples and conduct analyses. * Dismantle and assemble mechanical and electronic assemblies. * Supervise and execute assembly processes. * Maintain mechanical and electrical installations. * Maintain gearmotors, pumps, etc. * Monitor processes to ensure proper plant operation.
