Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Operator for the night shift, responsible for infrastructure monitoring, incident resolution, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. IT infrastructure monitoring and maintenance. 2. Proactive incident resolution and critical escalation. 3. Team-oriented, methodical, and proactive work. JOB DESCRIPTION AVOSTECH is looking for an IT Systems Operator to join our IT team (night shift). You will work fully remotely. **What will you do?** Monitor the infrastructure status according to established procedures and tools. Apply action procedures developed by higher-level teams. Resolve infrastructure-level incidents assigned to you within your scope of responsibility. Maintain operational documentation accurately and up to date. Keep the platform inventory updated. Review daily monitoring alerts for the infrastructure to proactively resolve potential issues identified by monitoring systems. Follow established escalation procedures for critical incidents. Perform scheduled maintenance on the infrastructure. Record all information in the corresponding ticketing and project management tools. Execute procedural changes according to the tape backup schedule at the data center. **What are we looking for?** Experience with Windows environments: W2003, W2008, W2012, W2016, W2019 Experience with Linux Red Hat 5\.x, Red Hat 6\.x, Red Hat 7\.x, Red Hat 8\.x Experience with Backup Tools: Veeam Backup, Data Protector, ARC Server Experience with VMware: VMware 6\.x and VMware 7\.x Experience with Monitoring and Metrics & Log Analytics Tools such as OMI, Grafana, or Dynatrace Experience with Ticketing Tools: SMAX, BMC Helix, JIRA Experience applying pre-defined procedures. Experience applying escalation groups. Accustomed to working in a team environment. Methodical, organized individual with strong documentation skills. Proactive, solution-oriented, initiative-driven, and responsible individual.
