We are currently seeking a Pipeline Engineering Lead who will play a critical role in ensuring the successful design, implementation, and management of piping systems, combining technical expertise with strong leadership. **Responsibilities:** * Lead and manage pipeline engineering projects from conception through to completion. * Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met. * Supervise piping system design and layout, ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations. * Perform stress analysis, material selection, and specification of piping components. * Review and approve drawings, layouts, and technical specifications. * Supervise and mentor a team of piping engineers and designers. * Provide technical guidance and support to team members. * Ensure all piping designs and installations comply with quality standards and safety regulations. * Conduct periodic inspections and audits of piping systems. * Implement and maintain quality control procedures. * Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs. * Establish relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and coordination. * Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation. * Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges arising during the project lifecycle. * Ensure all pipeline engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI). * Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the team and on-site. **Qualifications:** Education: \- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage. Regulatory knowledge of the sector (ASME B31\.3\. B31\.1, DIN) Experience: \- Extensive experience (typically over 10 years) in pipeline engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership or supervisory role. Certifications: \- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or industry-specific standards are valuable. **Skills:** * In-depth knowledge of piping design software (e.g., CAD programs: AutoCAD / MicroStation. Experience with 3D design tools such as PDMS/E3D / SP3D / AutoCAD Plant 3D / Navisworks is advantageous. * Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. * Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and designers. * Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design and documentation. * Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. **Languages:** High-level English **Professional Development:** * Career advancement opportunities may include roles such as Engineering Manager, Project Director, or Technical Consultant. * Continuous professional development through training, certifications, and staying current with industry trends and technologies is essential for professional growth.
