We are seeking a candidate to carry out the technical washing, drying, inspection, and classification of intervention suits, ensuring they meet cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards before being returned to the end user. **Key Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------- **Main Functions:** * Selection and configuration of specific washing programs for flame-retardant garments and personal protective equipment (PPE). * Control of dosing for technical detergents suitable for these materials. * Monitoring of critical parameters such as temperature, humidity, and drying processes to preserve membranes and protective properties. **Garment Inspection and Diagnosis:** * Detailed inspection of each garment to detect tears, burns, and rips, as well as deterioration or failure of reflective elements and other components such as zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, and seams. * Classification of garments according to condition (fit for use, repairable, rewashable, discard). **Workshop Preparation and Management:** * Garment labeling for traceability. * Recording incidents in internal software. * Photographic documentation of damages (per company procedures). **Support in Basic Sewing Tasks:** * Application and replacement of reflective elements. * Execution of simple reinforcements. * Repair of closures, hook-and-loop fasteners, and basic adjustments. **Requirements** -------------- * Experience in industrial laundry, handling of PPE, or technical garment inspection. * Strong observational skills and technical judgment. * Manual dexterity for minor repairs is considered a strong asset. * Availability to work weekends is considered a strong asset. * Residency in Illueca or nearby towns is highly valued. **What We Offer** ---------------- You will work at one of the group’s most important recovery plants in Spain and gain first-hand insight into the sustainable solutions Grupo Urvina develops for workwear, PPE, and circular economy initiatives.
