A safe, collaborative work environment focused on operational excellence. **Plant Operator: Nalco Water – Ecolab \| Etxebarri** At **Ecolab**, the global leader in water, hygiene, and energy solutions and services, we are seeking a **Water Treatment Plant Operator** to join our **Nalco Water** team in **Etxebarri**. This is an **initial 1-year contract**, with **possibilities for continuation** based on performance and service needs. **Job Objective:** Operate and supervise water treatment processes, ensuring proper facility operation, compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, correct chemical dosing, and equipment maintenance. **Key Responsibilities** * Operate and maintain water treatment systems in accordance with Ecolab’s technical, operational, and safety standards. * Perform control chemical analyses, periodic calibration of equipment and instrumentation, and adjust dosing according to instructions from the Process Engineer. * Carry out preventive maintenance tasks (lubrication, temperature monitoring, vibration measurement) and interpret results obtained. * Quickly and effectively detect, analyze, and resolve technical incidents. * Implement corrective and preventive actions defined by the Plant Supervisor. * Properly manage tools, technical documentation, and chemicals. * Strictly comply with safe work procedures, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and with electrical hazards. **Minimum Requirements** * Technical education in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Equipment Maintenance, Mechanics, or equivalent demonstrable experience. * Two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial environments or water treatment plants. * Good physical condition, including manual dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, and medical fitness for working at heights. * Availability to work rotating shifts (American cycle: **2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 nights, and 4 days off**). **Desirable Requirements** * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to make quick decisions in operational environments. * Proactive, autonomous, solution-oriented individual with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement. **What We Offer?** * Join a **global leader** in water treatment solutions. * **Initial 1-year contract**, with possibilities for continuation. * Continuous technical training and professional development within Ecolab. * A safe, collaborative work environment focused on operational excellence. \#li\-eu **Our Commitment to an Inclusive and Belonging Culture** Ecolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of all employees and applicants, and to promoting equal employment opportunity principles.
