




Job Summary: We are seeking a chef to support the head chef, prepare Basque dishes, supervise the team, and control food quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise the team, control quality, and manage stock We are looking for a chef for a position at a hospitality establishment in Urnieta. The selected candidate will assist the head chef in organizing daily operations and assume responsibility for the kitchen in the chef's absence. Key duties include preparing dishes aligned with the establishment's Basque culinary style, as well as supervising the team of assistants. The candidate will also be responsible for controlling dish quality, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety. Additionally, they will perform basic order and stock management, along with other duties inherent to the position. A full-time contract of forty hours per week is offered. Working hours will be from Monday to Sunday, on a rotating morning and afternoon shift schedule, respecting legally mandated rest periods. * Prior experience as a chef in the food service industry. * We seek a responsible and committed individual with strong teamwork skills. \* Living near the workplace or having a personal vehicle is desirable. * Culinary or Gastronomy training is desirable.
