Assist the Housekeeping Department in managing daily activities. Serve as a liaison coordinating efforts among the Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments. Document and resolve room discrepancy issues with the Front Desk. Prepare and distribute assignment sheets or work boards to Housekeeping staff. Record, verify, and update the list of rooms displaying the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned at the required time, and assign urgent rooms and rooms previously marked "Do Not Disturb." Complete required Housekeeping paperwork. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete required safety trainings and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and address them promptly; and thank them with genuine appreciation. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Enter and locate job-related information using computers. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Relevant Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
