A dynamic professional environment with growth opportunities. **Social Sciences Editor** ============================== Location: San Fernando de Henares, M, ES, 28830 Salary: n/a Division: English Language Teaching Department: Publishing We are looking for an Editor for the Geography and History area at our headquarters in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid). You will join a team committed to educational excellence, where you will be responsible for editing publishing projects—both printed and digital—ensuring compliance with editorial guidelines, deadlines, and budget. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare authors' manuscripts, performing pre-layouts, orthotypographic and stylistic corrections, ensuring alignment with current educational curricula. * Review and correct printed and digital materials, guaranteeing maximum content quality. * Select appropriate photographs and resources for printed and digital materials, balancing pedagogical quality and cost. * Supervise the digitization of activities and the publication of digital products. * Plan and meet established deadlines and budgets, anticipate risks, and propose effective solutions. * Stay up to date with educational legislation, market competition, and the needs of teachers and students. **Requirements:** * Degree in Geography and History (a Master’s or postgraduate qualification in Publishing is highly valued). * Over three years’ experience in editing. * Advanced knowledge of ICT and MS Office.
