Location Madrid Category Information Technology and Telecommunications Subcategory Programming Sector Computer Equipment Working Hours Full-time Work Modality Hybrid Professional Level Employee Department Information Technology ### **Description** At Izertis, we are seeking to expand our team by hiring an **Appian Administrator**. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Coordinate with teams to ensure platform operability. * Prepare and maintain production, pre-production, integration, and development environments. * Install, administer, configure, and maintain the Appian platform in on\-premise environments.\- Apply updates, patches (hotfixes), plug\-ins, and manage versions across different environments. * Administer and optimize the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and servlet container (Apache Tomcat) where the Appian platform runs. * Design, implement, and manage automations to optimize operational tasks and platform administration processes. * Configure high availability and service continuity. * Administer networks, VPNs, DNS, FQDNs, and platform connectivity. * Evaluate hardware and software performance, proposing improvements. * Configure access controls, traceability, auditing, and security policies. * Monitor the status of systems and services associated with Appian. * Apply cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements. * Log and track incidents and applied solutions. * Diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to Appian, networks, hardware, and software, including escalation to vendors and follow-up until resolution. * Provide support to development, cybersecurity, and network teams. * Serve as the technical liaison with technical leads and other stakeholders for problem resolution. * Prepare technical manuals, reporting, operational notes, and procedure documentation **What are we looking for in you?** Minimum general experience of 5 years in IT projects. At least 3 years of experience implementing iPBMS platforms. 2 years of experience installing, administering, configuring, and maintaining Appian. This experience must include: * Configuring database interconnection. * Integrating with other system services or components. 2 years of experience managing version lifecycles and performing evolutionary upgrades of the Appian platform. 2 years of experience managing high-availability environments and/or maintaining ICT infrastructure operations. 2 years of experience tuning and optimizing Java parameters (e.g., JVM heap or GC) on Apache Tomcat servers. **Where would we like you to be located for this position?** Madrid **What can we offer you?** Indefinite-term contract Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with a maximum of 40 hours per week Hybrid remote work model.
