Job Summary: We are seeking a Perimeter Security Engineer to collaborate on critical air traffic projects, configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and secure networks, and mitigating vulnerabilities. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration on critical perimeter security projects for air traffic. 2. Management and maintenance of firewalls, VPNs, and secure networks. 3. Technical analysis and mitigation of vulnerabilities in infrastructure. At NOVANOTIO, we are recruiting a PERIMETER SECURITY ENGINEER to collaborate on air traffic-related projects within a critical, high-availability technological environment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 3 years of experience in perimeter security tasks: firewalls, switches, VPNs, networks, and systems. * Solid knowledge of Check Point, Forcepoint, and/or Fortinet firewalls, including their management systems. * Experience in Linux environments and communication networks. * University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? * Knowledge of security regulations and best practices for critical systems. * Familiarity with perimeter security architectures. * Knowledge of Linux and other operating systems such as Solaris or Windows. * Analytical and rigorous capability for diagnosing and resolving security incidents. DESIRABLE SKILLS: * Advanced knowledge of ATM system architecture. * Experience applying security regulations and frameworks. * Intermediate/advanced level of Linux system administration. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS: * Engineering, consulting, and execution of projects related to perimeter security of critical systems. * Configuration, management, and maintenance of firewalls, VPNs, and secure networks. * Technical analysis and mitigation of vulnerabilities in communication infrastructure. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for the design and validation of secure solutions. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Work mode: Hybrid (60% remote / 40% on-site). * Location: Madrid — Torrejón de Ardoz. * Travel: Occasional domestic travel, only in critical cases. * Required qualification: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. * Workplace: Technical office specializing in security and critical systems engineering.
