Job Summary: We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to lead the technical team, scale our SaaS product, and enhance its technical architecture—with emphasis on document management and accounting. Actively participate in product strategic decisions Lead Software Engineer Matrix Development System is a technology-driven product company specializing in developing solutions that facilitate and accelerate the digital transformation of accounting firms, tax advisory services, enterprises, and institutions. Our solutions include document management, invoicing, automated accounting, OCR-based data extraction, and bank reconciliation, among others. We are part of a well-established group of companies operating across the technology and industrial sectors. Currently, we are seeking to bring onboard a professional who will lead our technical team, support scaling of our product, and improve its technical architecture—a production-ready SaaS product built on a modern architecture with a central server based on .NET Core and Vue.js. What do you need to fit this role? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Proven technical experience of at least 5 years as a Tech Lead—leading technical decisions and teams in .NET (C#) environments. It is essential that you have combined hands-on software development with mentoring and managing developers. Prior experience in document management software, ERPs, or accounting systems will be highly valued. Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Ability to determine when and how to apply them to maximize team performance. **Leadership and management skills:** Strong communication abilities and experience managing technical teams—including guiding, motivating, and coordinating team members. Experience designing modern software architectures (DDD, CQRS, Clean Architecture) and familiarity with DevOps culture (CI/CD, Docker) will also be positively considered, as will knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. What will your day-to-day look like? We seek a Tech Lead who serves as the technical cornerstone of our product. You will not only manage and support our development team daily but also drive our product roadmap. **Your key responsibilities include:** **Technical leadership:** Design and validate software architectures, design patterns, and best practices across backend, frontend, and other systems. Oversee code quality and deployment processes. Team management and mentoring—supporting developers daily. Establish working methodologies and conduct constructive code reviews. **Product evolution:** Actively contribute to strategic product decisions by providing technical insights to assess impact, feasibility, and technical cost of new features. Architecture and scalability. Ensure our platform is future-ready and capable of long-term scalability.
