The execution order will follow the sequence described below, although it may be modified for organizational reasons or facility availability. AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT ADAPTATION 1\. OBJECTIVE: Assess the candidate’s overall aquatic environment aptitude. 2\. PROCEDURE: With the candidate standing on the platform, prepared to dive and perform the test, the evaluator will count: “One, two…” “Go”, and upon this signal, the candidate shall jump into the water and swim 50 m in a back-and-forth course, as specified in the rules. At the midpoint of the course, the candidate must submerge and retrieve a ring from the pool floor, then deposit it onto the pool edge. 3\. RULES: + Start must be made from the platform, upon the evaluator’s signal. + The 50 m course must be swum using freestyle stroke. + To retrieve the ring, the candidate may submerge only after completing the outbound leg. + The ring must be placed on the pool edge. + Once the ring is deposited on the pool edge, the candidate may push off with feet and hands to complete the return leg. + The test ends when the candidate touches the pool wall upon arrival. + At no point during execution is holding onto the lane rope, overflow gutter, or any other object permitted. + Time taken to complete the test will be measured in seconds and tenths of seconds. + Two attempts are allowed; the better time will be recorded. + Given the nature of this test, only upon its completion will the evaluator determine whether the candidate completed the course according to the specifications outlined here. + Null Attempt: Any attempt violating any of the rules specified above will be deemed null. BARROW TEST: 1\. OBJECTIVE: Assess the applicant’s agility in movement. 2\. PROCEDURE: Starting position: Standing beside the central pole and behind the starting line. First complete circuit A, then circuit B, as illustrated in the diagram. 3\. RULES: + An attempt is null if the candidate knocks over any pole. + An attempt is null if the candidate holds onto any pole to prevent it from falling. + An attempt is null if the candidate deviates from the prescribed path — i.e., crosses or exceeds the ideal running line (even if returning to the correct path). + Two attempts will be conducted. + The interval between the first and second attempt shall not exceed 5\-10 seconds. + Execution time ends when the candidate crosses the starting line again. + Total execution time equals the sum of times for both circuits (A\+B). PULL-UPS OR CHIN-UPS ON FIXED BAR: 1\. OBJECTIVE: Assess upper-body relative strength of male applicants. 2\. PROCEDURE: Hang from the bar with palms facing forward and arms fully extended. From this initial hanging position, perform repetitions bringing the chin above the top edge of the bar, then fully extending the elbows when lowering. 3\. RULES: + Chin must rise above the top edge of the bar. + Elbows must be fully extended when lowering. + Swinging is not permitted. + Leg movements assisting the motion are prohibited. + Only one attempt is allowed. STATIC ARM FLEX HANG ON BAR: 1\. OBJECTIVE: Assess isometric strength of female applicants. 2\. PROCEDURE: Phase I. The candidate hangs from the fixed bar.
