Candidates must possess experience and knowledge in habitat and species studies, as well as in wildlife strike analysis and advisory services on mitigation measures. The role will focus on continuing current work at the airport and covering the maternity leave of the current Wildlife Technical Coordinator **assigned to the airports of Pamplona and Logroño.** **Key Responsibilities:** * Wildlife and habitat monitoring and surveillance * Wildlife censuses and periodic monitoring * Specific study characterizing habitats inside and around the airport, and its ongoing monitoring * Periodic analysis of invertebrate abundance and availability on the airfield * Identification of species involved in strikes * Advisory support for the annual and periodic update of the Wildlife Strike Risk Study * Advisory support for drafting, monitoring, and evaluating the Wildlife Risk Management Program * Monthly monitoring of mitigation measures, incidents, and wildlife attractants * Advisory support for preparing and delivering training sessions * Advisory support for processing activities in the airport vicinity that may potentially affect risk areas **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Environmental Sciences * **Proven ornithological expertise** (a practical test will be administered during the interview) * Minimum **2 years of experience conducting wildlife censuses and monitoring**, or equivalent experience * Familiarity with devices used to collect, record, and process data (GPS, databases, etc.) * Minimum intermediate level of English proficiency * Proactive individual with decision-making capability * Ability to travel when required * Residency in Navarra or surrounding areas, or willingness to relocate to Navarra or La Rioja **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services across the project lifecycle—from advisory, planning, design, and engineering to program and construction management.
