The Port Services team specializes in delivering advanced equipment, software, and maintenance solutions for container handling and lifting at ports, optimizing operational efficiency across the country. **Job Description** We are seeking a Port Field Technician to join our team in Las Palmas. As a Service Technician, you will be entrusted with critical tasks related to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various equipment and systems. Key responsibilities include: * Performing preventive maintenance tasks, carrying out upgrades, and executing repairs across our full range of port cranes. * Accurately and efficiently diagnosing and resolving equipment faults. * Managing on-site installations, including directing and coordinating activities among various project participants. * Serving as the direct liaison with customers, our engineering department, and teams from our parent company to ensure seamless operations. * Organizing and leading team efforts to maximize productivity and safety. * Identifying and reporting potential sales opportunities during service calls. * Meticulously completing all required documentation. * Expertly executing repairs and upgrades of drive systems with precision and attention to detail. This position demands a high level of technical competence, strong problem-solving ability, and the capability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic port environment. **Requirements** Essential qualifications: * Specialized training or equivalent in electromechanical disciplines. * Extensive experience in electrical fault diagnosis, wiring, and commissioning. * Exceptional problem-solving and fault-resolution skills. * Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required. * Physical ability to climb ladders and work at height. * Strong interpersonal skills for extensive customer interaction. * Valid driver’s license. * Unwavering commitment to safety protocols. * Ability to understand and communicate in English; additional languages are valued. * Willingness to travel as required by the role. Desirable qualifications: * Proven experience in port crane installation. * Experience in ship-to-shore crane unloading.
