Summary: We are seeking a Gerontological Caregiver for a geriatric residence, providing support in personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and overall well-being of residents. Highlights: 1. Collaboration with the healthcare team for residents' well-being The geriatric residence in Esplugues requires a Gerontological Caregiver. Mandatory qualification: Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions, or Intermediate Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Care for Dependent Persons, or CFGM in Auxiliary Nursing Care. Permanent contract. Full-time position. 1200 hours/year according to weekly schedule. Working hours: choice between morning or afternoon shift: \- Morning: 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM; or Afternoon: 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Annual gross salary: €14,904. \- Provide support in personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility of dependent elderly individuals. \- Monitor and promote personal care and appearance. \- Provide and administer food, facilitating intake where required, and correctly using technical aids when necessary; oversee feeding and control hydration according to established guidelines. \- Address and prevent elimination-related issues and manage fecal and urinary incontinence. \- Ensure resident safety by preventing falls and pressure ulcers (e.g., skin hydration, postural changes, etc.). \- Offer emotional support and encourage participation in center activities. \- Collaborate with the healthcare team by reporting any changes in residents' health status.
