Technical training in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or similar fields. **Job Description** We are looking for a **Plastic Injection Mold Technician** with experience in **preventive and corrective maintenance**, **mold adjustment and repair**, as well as **mold commissioning**, to ensure proper operation of the production process. The selected candidate will join the maintenance team and work closely with production and engineering to guarantee the availability and reliability of injection molds. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform **preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance** on plastic injection molds. * Carry out **adjustments, repairs, and inspections** of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling components. * **Assemble and disassemble** molds on benches or machines, ensuring correct functionality prior to production. * Diagnose malfunctions and **resolve mechanical issues** in molds. * Interpret technical drawings and tolerances. * Collaborate with the production team to achieve **mold improvements and cycle time optimization**. * Record and track all interventions performed (mold history). * Ensure compliance with **quality, safety, and 5S workplace organization** standards. **Requirements** * Technical education: Vocational Training Level II (FP II) or Higher Vocational Training Cycle (CFGS) in **Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Manufacturing, or related fields**. * Minimum **3 years' experience** in maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds. * Knowledge of **precision fitting, lathe, milling machine, surface grinding, and TIG welding**. * Ability to interpret drawings and tolerances. * Experience with **multi-cavity molds** is desirable. * Responsible, solution-oriented individual with a strong quality focus. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in **mold design improvements or modifications**. * Knowledge of **plastic injection processes and mold changeover procedures**. * Proficiency in using dimensional measurement and verification tools.
