As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll have the opportunity to observe how each stage functions and intervene to ensure smooth execution. You will be the first point of contact for team members during their shift and help them follow established processes set by your supervisors. This is a highly hands-on role that provides practical experience using the tools and systems critical to the success of our operations. This position is for a fixed night shift. Key job responsibilities * Measure and monitor workflow, control productivity in the facility, and provide key shift information to frontline leaders to ensure operational excellence. * Support and train staff to deliver excellent service, and supervise them in their daily tasks. * Support the Area Manager with projects aimed at improving processes, creating a safe work environment, and increasing employee motivation. * Collaborate with other departments to solve common problems or ensure performance in key areas. * Identify ways to optimize safety, quality, and productivity through data analysis. A day in the life As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll be based in one of our operational facilities. You’ll assist your Shift/Area Manager in executing the plan established for each shift. To do so, you’ll play a vital role in team meetings held before each shift and supervise procedures to ensure everyone follows safety regulations, quality processes, and the daily priority plan. If you identify any issues, you’ll escalate them to your supervisor; however, sometimes you’ll be the most experienced person on shift and responsible for giving others the necessary instructions to perform their tasks. At other times, you’ll help your Area Manager schedule shifts to ensure adequate staffing coverage during peak hours. About the team Fulfillment Centers (Customer Fulfillment or CF) are the foundation of Amazon. CF has evolved from a modest team of booksellers into a sophisticated global team managing over 1.5 million orders daily. The team forms the backbone of our business, and its work has enabled us to expand into new regions and services. Fulfillment Centers represent the first link in the chain ensuring customers receive products with the speed Amazon is known for. We help manage a dynamic inventory and facilitate fast deliveries around the clock. Many different people work in our logistics centers, offering opportunities for diverse profiles. Some of us work directly with products, while others analyze data that serves as the foundation for intelligent decision-making across the company. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Advanced level of Spanish, both spoken and written (CEFR Level C1), * Experience using data analysis and related metrics to identify problems. * Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Experience managing business partners, including establishing and maintaining professional relationships. * Experience in an operational environment, such as logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service. * Upper-intermediate level of English.
