




Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Project Technician specialized in solar energy to design, size, and manage residential, industrial, and power-generation photovoltaic systems, including administrative processing and technical support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and sizing of advanced photovoltaic systems. 2. End-to-end solar project management, from design through legalization. 3. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and component databases. A technician is required for the electrical projects department, with specialization in solar energy. Responsibilities will include designing and sizing photovoltaic systems for residential and industrial self-consumption as well as power-generation plants. Design tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, or SketchUp will be used. Duties encompass preparation of drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical reports in compliance with current regulations, including the Spanish Low-Voltage Electrical Regulation (REBT). The role also includes structural and cabling calculations, selection of inverters and battery systems, and preparation of budgets and measurements. Additionally, the position involves managing administrative processing and legalization of projects with competent official authorities, providing technical support to the construction and procurement teams during execution, and participating in continuous improvement of design standards and component databases. * University degree in Technical or Higher Engineering in Electrical or Energy Engineering, or related Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior). * Minimum 2 years’ experience in designing grid-connected or hybrid (battery-integrated) photovoltaic installations. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst (or equivalent). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Valid driver’s license. * Willingness to travel to project sites on an infrequent basis. * Residence in the Barbanza area and/or willingness to relocate.
