Ref. 153488 PR PROMAN (Vic) GURB, Osona Permanent 29/07/2026 Job Description A leading company in the cocoa sector is seeking a Food Safety Coordinator, a position reporting directly to the QA Manager with no team supervision responsibilities. However, the candidate must demonstrate high autonomy, ability to lead topics within their area, and solid experience in quality and audit management. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL OR FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: * Solid knowledge of food safety management systems * Knowledge of processing and processing technologies (food or pharmaceutical industry preferred) * Knowledge of laboratory operations and testing procedures * Knowledge of plant and manufacturing functional disciplines * Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM or similar operational systems * Experience in project management and associated tools and systems * Change manager focused on continuous improvement through people capability development * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Up-to-date with latest quality and food safety regulations * Demonstrable strong focus on procedures (standardization) * Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Ability to work with data and apply statistical quality control tools Requirements * Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or equivalent Mandatory: * Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety, including formal training in HACCP, environmental monitoring and pathogen testing + Formal training in FSSC22000 or BRC + Certification in a quality management system such as ASQ (preferred) + English (B2) + Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SAP systems and other manufacturing applications such as scheduling, CMMS, MES, etc. Conditions Location GURB County Osona Number of positions 1 Category Coordinator Department Quality Salary Dependent on candidate’s experience and fit Contract type Permanent Contract duration Permanent Publication date 29/07/2026 Sector Human Resources CompanyPROMAN (Vic) LocationGURB CountyOsona SectorHuman Resources
