Job Summary: A café-bar is seeking waiters/waitresses to assist with setup, table service, customer assistance, maintaining order and cleanliness, and learning how to operate coffee machines. Punctuality, good appearance, and courteous treatment of the public The café-bar is looking for 2 waiters/waitresses: one full-time and one part-time. Full-time: 40 hours/week, schedule from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. (days according to company needs, Monday through Sunday); Part-time: 20 hours/week, schedule from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (days according to company needs, Monday through Sunday) Assistance with setting up the dining area and terrace; supporting table service: delivering drinks and dishes and subsequently clearing them; customer assistance; maintaining order and cleanliness in work areas; learning and operating the coffee machine, grinders, and other small bar appliances; managing the industrial dishwasher and glass washer in the bar area; assisting with stock control and beverage restocking; assisting with using the POS terminal (point-of-sale) to register orders. * Minimum 1 month of experience. Experience in similar tasks will be valued. * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Mandatory requirement: food handler certificate (or commitment to obtain it). Physical agility and organizational ability for basic support tasks (table cleaning, restocking supplies, bar assistance). * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: 1221 * Additional relevant information: No prior specific hospitality training is required, although having completed a basic bar or restaurant course will be valued.
