Description
The position focuses on the comprehensive management of material reception, covering everything from physical unloading to documentary and qualitative verification of received materials. Responsibilities include consulting and analyzing technical drawings to compare specifications of received materials against project standards. A thorough inspection is conducted on quantities, exact dimensions, thicknesses, and other essential technical characteristics, using precise and calibrated measuring instruments. Concurrently, a meticulous visual inspection is performed to identify any defects, damage, or deviations that could compromise material quality—and, by extension, the production process.
A substantial part of the work involves systematically recording all inspections carried out. This is done using computerized tools and management systems, ensuring digital traceability and archiving for each received batch. When incidents or non-conforming materials are detected, the professional must manage non-conformities by communicating effectively with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and ensure only conforming materials proceed through the supply chain.
This role is fundamental to ensuring quality at the source, acting as a critical filter preventing issues in subsequent production stages. It requires systematic execution and extreme attention to detail at every step—from initial unloading to final validation and archiving of associated documentation—thus contributing to operational efficiency and cost control.
Working hours follow a split shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00–13:00 and 15:00–18:00, with weekends off. The position is offered by an industrial-sector company, providing job stability and a long-term professional project. The work environment features well-defined procedures and a technically oriented team focused on mutual support.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and operate measuring instruments accurately is required. Basic office software proficiency is essential for digital inspection recordkeeping. Prior experience—minimum one year—in material reception, quality control, or industrial environments will be valued.
