Responsibilities Are you passionate about cooking and do you have experience in catering services? Compass Group is looking for an Advanced Cook or Second Chef to join a school located in Llinars del Vallès, as part of a well-established team with high-volume production. Your main responsibilities: * Preparation of approximately 900 daily meals, including breakfasts and snacks. * Direct support to the Head Chef in daily organization and production. * Development and supervision of special menus (diets, allergies, and intolerances). * Compliance with and monitoring of HACCP protocols. * Maintaining order, cleanliness, and proper organization of facilities and workstations. * Taking primary responsibility for cooking main dishes; independently managing kitchen operations on specific days. Requirements - Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Advanced Cook or Second Chef in catering services (mandatory). * Prior experience in schools, hospitals, care homes, or corporate cafeterias is highly valued. * Solid knowledge of HACCP, allergen management, and special diets. * Leadership ability, teamwork skills, and operational support capability, including coordination with the Head Chef. * Taking primary responsibility for cooking main dishes; independently managing kitchen operations on specific days. * Immediate availability to start. * Own vehicle (car or motorcycle) for commuting to the workplace is highly valued. Offer - Initial temporary contract of 3–6 months, followed by a discontinuous permanent contract (FIDI). * Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. * Monday to Friday working days. * Shift from 7:00 to 15:00 or 7:30 to 15:30. * Salary according to the Collective Agreement for Collective Catering, ranging from €22,788.28 to €23,653.48 gross annual, based on qualifications. * Job stability in an educational and organized environment.
