This time, we are recruiting a Project Engineer for our Vilagarcía de Arousa plant. Your mission will be to develop engineering projects related to automation, process improvement, and implementation of industrial processes and facilities within Grupo Profand, participating in all project phases—from design through commissioning—ensuring achievement of technical, economic, and scheduling objectives, as well as compliance with Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, Quality, and Food Safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and implement automation and production process improvement projects across Group plants. * Design or modify production lines, industrial layouts, and line balancing to optimize production processes. * Prepare drawings, graphical documentation, and technical documentation required for project development and execution. * Plan, develop, and execute projects from the pre-project phase through commissioning, coordinating all execution stages. * Design auxiliary equipment and tooling to improve efficiency, productivity, and ergonomics of processes. * Identify, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers, external engineering firms, and contractor companies; analyze quotations, manage purchase orders, and conduct technical and economic project monitoring. * Coordinate installation of new equipment, plan and supervise industrial trials, ensuring proper operation of implemented solutions. * Supervise project execution to ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality, and technical specifications. * Provide technical support for projects developed across Group plants, collaborating in incident resolution and implementation of improvements. * Lead multidisciplinary teams to analyze technical issues, identify improvement opportunities, and implement data-driven and indicator-based solutions. * Prepare project reports, technical documents, and progress documentation. * Identify emerging technologies and industry trends through technological surveillance, supplier visits, and benchmarking with leading companies, proposing innovative solutions that add business value. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures regarding Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, Quality, and Food Safety. ### **Requirements** • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification. A Master’s degree specializing in structures or industrial construction is highly valued. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in roles related to industrial projects, process automation, production line design, or industrial facility improvement. * Experience in end-to-end project management: scheduling, timeline tracking, coordination of contractor companies, budget management, quotation analysis, procurement, and progress meetings. * Proficiency in design and calculation software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CYPE, SAP2000, Tricalc, Robot Structural Analysis, or similar tools. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English. * Willingness to travel to other Grupo Profand plants, both nationally and internationally, depending on project requirements. * Organized individual with strong analytical skills, results orientation, and abilities in coordination, communication, and teamwork. ### **What We Offer** What do we offer? * A stable position within a multinational company undergoing expansion. * Continuous, personalized training aligned with your needs and those of your team. * A benefits platform offering discounts with various brands.
