Participate in site visits, installations, testing, and commissioning activities Nalco is currently seeking a **Project Engineer Trainee** to join our Industrial Engineering team in Madrid. As the industry leader in water technology, we’re growing and need talented people like you to help us continue to protect the world’s most vital resource. **How You’ll Make an Impact:** * Support the equipment engineering \& automation projects from enquiry, initial scoping, basic design through to detailed engineering, supply, commissioning \& start\-up as required by the project manager/team. * Work closely with the main Nalco partners/vendors and interface with third\-party equipment providers as required. * Technical and admin tasks related to proposal preparation, documentation, back\-office, system design, project scoping, project development and execution of new equipment solutions and automation opportunities. * Participate in site visits, installations, testing, and commissioning activities, providing technical support during start‑up phases. * Ensure compliance with project KPIs (safety, quality, costs and time) and compliance with all Nalco Health, Safety and Environmental Policies. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science with Water Treatment Specialization. * English B2 level and Native Spanish. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. * Problem Solving attitude. * The position is based in the **Alcalá de Henares** office. * A valid license and own vehicle are required. **What’s in it For You:** * The opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments. * The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth. * The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best. * Comprehensive benefits package. **What do we offer?** * Full\-time remunerated practices. * International and dynamic environment. * Hourly flexibility. * Hybrid model: Work from home 2 days a week.
