Manage documentation infrastructure and website Job Title: Technical Documentation Specialist – OpenVINO **Location:** Poland preferred (other European locations considered) **Timezone:** European business hours (CET/CEST) **Contract Type:** 1\-year, full\-time contractor **Payment:** Competitive contractor rate in **USD**, to be discussed based on experience **Project Timeline:** Aligned with software release cycles; 4–8 major releases per year (every 8–12 weeks), with high\-intensity documentation sprints during release periods **Role Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented **Technical Documentation Specialist** to create, maintain, and enhance OpenVINO product documentation. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and product teams to ensure high\-quality, user\-friendly documentation for developers and end\-users. This position requires proficiency in modern documentation tools, familiarity with AI/ML concepts, and the ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Documentation Creation \& Maintenance** * Develop and maintain OpenVINO product documentation (user guides, system requirements, release notes) on GitHub and the official website * Collaborate with product teams, engineers, and stakeholders to gather technical inputs and translate them into clear, user\-focused content * Design and maintain information architecture and navigation for optimal user experience * Ensure documentation consistency, adherence to style guides, and compliance with organizational standards * Contribute to GitHub repositories following Intel’s licensing guidelines (e.g., Apache 2\.0\) **2\. Website \& Documentation Infrastructure Management** * Maintain and update the OpenVINO documentation website using Jenkins build and pipeline processes * Manage backend dependencies, system upgrades, and website functionality * Maintain Sphinx documentation generation system for automated, professional documentation output * Handle GitHub workflows including pull requests, reviews, and approvals * Create and maintain documentation using reStructuredText for consistency and automation * Evaluate alternative documentation tools or pipelines for improved efficiency and maintainability **Technical Requirements** **Advanced Skills:** * Sphinx documentation generator * reStructuredText markup language **Proficient Skills:** * GitHub workflows * Visual Studio Code * Jenkins automation and dependency management **Domain Knowledge:** * AI/ML concepts (inference, models, hardware) * OpenVINO knowledge is a strong plus **Soft Skills** * Excellent written and verbal communication in English * Effective collaboration with cross\-functional teams * Strong project management and multitasking abilities * Adaptable to fast\-paced, deadline\-driven work environments * Self\-motivated, detail\-oriented, and proactive **Performance Metrics \& Quality Standards** **Delivery Metrics:** * 24\-hour average response time for documentation reviews on GitHub * 3\-day SLA for documentation updates (exceptions for major changes) * On\-time delivery of release documentation * 99\.5% uptime for OpenVINO documentation websites * 95%\+ SLA compliance **Quality Assurance:** * Peer review of all changes until quality is established * Jenkins build reports demonstrating successful documentation builds * GitHub pull request logs reflecting timeliness, quality, and collaboration * Weekly reporting on updates, structural improvements, and user experience enhancements **Escalation Protocols:** * Engage Intel Sponsor or designated escalation contacts for unresponsive product/engineering teams or critical backend issues **To apply:** Please send your updated resume to **e2\.castillo@praxisglobe.net** Job Types: Full\-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: From 2,500\.00€ per month Application Question(s): * Do you have experience with AI/ML concepts, inference models, or specifically OpenVINO?
