Design and characterize nanoscale electrochemical sensors We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for the project "Towards the automation of single\-cell measurements using electrochemical nanoprobes (AutoCellSens)". The project focuses on advancing the state\-of\-the\-art in single\-cell analysis by automating the use of electrochemical nanoprobes, moving beyond manual and labor\-intensive procedures to high\- throughput sensing. **Key Responsibilities** * Automation of Nanoprobes: Develop and implement automated systems for the precise positioning and measurement of electrochemical nanoprobes at the single\-cell level. * High\-Impedance Instrumentation: Utilize high\-precision interfaces, such as the EMF16 Precision Electrochemistry Interface with High Impedance Options, to capture low\-level signals from cellular environments. * Nanoscale Sensing: Design and characterize electrochemical sensors at the nanoscale (nanoprobes) for intracellular or pericellular monitoring. * Data Acquisition: Manage complex data streams originating from automated single\-cell experiments. Requirements * PhD in Analytical Chemistry, electrochemistry, Nanotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field. * Expertise in Nanoelectrochemistry: Specific experience working with nanoprobes or nanoelectrodes. * Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with high\-impedance measurement systems and precision electrochemistry equipment. * Automation Skills: Interest or experience in the automation of analytical processes or microscopy\-related positioning. **What We Offer** Position: Full\-time Postdoctoral Researcher.
