Cognizant DATA \& AI is seeking an experienced and strategic **Data Manager** to lead our data initiatives, oversee our cloud data infrastructure, and manage cross\-functional data projects. In this role, you will be the bridge between technical execution and business strategy. You will own the end\-to\-end delivery of data solutions utilizing **Snowflake, AWS, and Azure**, while applying strong **Project Management** methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. **Key Responsibilities** **Data Strategy \& Cloud Architecture** * **Platform Management:** Oversee and optimize our enterprise data warehouse environment utilizing **Snowflake/Databricks** across multi\-cloud infrastructure (**AWS** and **Azure**). * **Data Governance \& Security:** Establish and enforce data governance, quality standards, and security protocols across all cloud platforms to ensure compliance and data integrity. **Project \& Team Management** * **Agile Leadership:** Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand\-ups, retrospectives) to keep the data team aligned and productive. * **Stakeholder Communication:** Translate complex technical data concepts into actionable business insights for non\-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. **Required Qualifications** * **Experience:** 10\+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or a closely related technical field, with at least 2\+ years in a leadership or project management role. * **Project Management:** Strong background in managing technical projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com). * **Languages:** Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of Python or other scripting languages used in data engineering. **Preferred Qualifications** * Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI\-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster).
