Mechanical/Civil Layout Designer - Diseñador/Proyectista Mecánico

Como Diseñador de Distribución Mecánica/Civil, reportarás al Supervisor Engineer for Large Modules \& Site Physical Design, y estarás ubicado en C.N. Ascó, en Tarragona, con un horario de trabajo híbrido (remoto y presencial). Este es un puesto de jornada completa. **Responsabilidades:** ---------------------- * Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con el personal de ingeniería y recibir sus instrucciones para aplicar conceptos de ingeniería de diseño mecánico, de soportes, civiles y/o estructurales en entregables consistentes en gráficos y planos de detalle constructivos * Desarrollar diseños y modelos digitales de complejidad moderada, incorporando modificaciones o nuevos diseños en planos de ingeniería de fabricación, instalación y/o construcción * Preparar diseños, modelos digitales y planos para elementos completos teniendo en cuenta espacios para estructuras, tuberías y/o instalaciones mecánicas críticas * Coordinar las actividades de delineación, dar seguimiento al progreso, brindar orientación técnica y comentarios para obtener resultados precisos * Asistir en el análisis de planos y modelos de ingeniería para la fabricación/construcción del producto, lo que incluye verificar: facilidad de interpretación, ilustración adecuada, datos necesarios, dimensionamiento correcto y necesario, tolerancias adecuadas acordes con los costos de fabricación y la viabilidad, acabado superficial y símbolos de soldadura adecuados, especificaciones de material y datos de notas relacionados, aplicación y tamaños de material adecuados y requisitos de formato de plano relacionados, como la lista de materiales, aprobación y publicación de documentos según los procedimientos específicos del proyecto o del departamento * Calcular dimensiones, tolerancias, ajustes, pendientes, pesos, curvaturas, etc., utilizando información y formulación de ingeniería * Interpretar especificaciones, referencias, etc., aplicando los principios de delineación establecidos. * Con frecuencia, tomar medidas y datos in situ, realización de inspecciones y dar soporte a la instalación en una instalación nuclear **Requisitos:** --------------- * Título de ingeniería relacionado con la disciplina técnica, o Técnico o formación profesional relacionado con la disciplina técnica, o equivalente con 10 años\+ de experiencia en proyectos industriales/ nucleares * Software: MICROSTATION (preferiblemente la versión Connect y experiencia con herramientas 3D), AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, TEKLA Structures, PDS, SmartPlant3D * Debe estar capacitado para trabajar en áreas radiológicas y contará con un carné radiológico, ocasionalmente, podría trabajar en espacios confinados, utilizando mascarilla respiratoria * Dominio del español e inglés escrito y hablado \- **Welcome to the future of nuclear energy**, where Westinghouse Electric Company is leading the field with expertise and innovation to shape the power of tomorrow. Ascó in Tarragona with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in\-office). This is a full\-time role. **Key Responsibilities:** ------------------------- * Work with and receive directions from Engineering personnel toward applying engineering concepts of Mechanical, Supports, Civil and Structural designs into practicable functional graphics and drafting deliverables * Develop moderately complex layouts and digital models incorporating modified concepts in manufacturing, installation and construction engineering drawings * Prepare layouts, digital models and drawings for complete items characterized by critical structural, piping and mechanical clearances\- Specifications can be from sketch or may be statement of end results * Coordinate drafting activities, follow the progress, provide technical guidance and comments to obtain accurate outputs * Help analyze engineering drawings and models for product manufacturability and constructability, including checking for: ease of interpretation, proper illustration, necessary data, correct and needed dimensioning, proper tolerances congruent with manufacturing costs and feasibility, proper surface finish and weld symbols, proper material specifications and related note data, proper material application and sizes and related drawing format requirements such as bill of materials, proper sign\-off and release of documents per project specific and department procedures * Calculate dimensions, tolerances, fits, slopes, weights, and bends using experimental engineering information and formula * Interpret specifications and references in use of stablished drawing principles * Take on\-site measurement and data, assistance to walk\-downs, and support installation within a nuclear facility **Qualifications:** ------------------- * Degree in Engineering or Technician or Vocational qualification certificate (FP) and 10\+ years of experience in industrial and/ or nuclear projects * Software skills: MICROSTATION (preferably Connect version and experience with 3D tool), AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, TEKLA Structures, PDS, SmartPlant3D * Fluent in English and Spanish * Ability to work within radiological areas, have radiological monitoring document, and occasionally work within confined spaces, wearing respirator mask \#LI\-Hybrid **Why Westinghouse?** --------------------- We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
