




Role Overview We’re seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support the delivery phase of an industrial project for a company leader in Chemical Manufacturing at Huelva (Spain). The role involves supervising mechanical, piping, structural and E\\\&I construction activities, from mobilization to handover to operations. You will ensure technical execution, contractor coordination, HSE compliance, progress tracking and quality control on site. Key Responsibilities **Oversee on\-site construction activities:** piping, mechanical, structural, pipeline, and E\\\&I. Monitor contractors (fabrication, erection, pre\-commissioning) and report progress. Review and validate construction documentation (ISOs, P\\\&IDs, method statements, ITPs). Resolve technical issues, non\-conformities, and quality deviations on site. Coordinate with engineering \& procurement for timely material and documentation delivery. Implement Quality \& Inspection Plans, ensuring mechanical completion and punch\-free handover. Enforce HSE standards, manage work permits, and participate in coordination meetings. Lead construction coordination meetings and provide weekly progress reports to Project Management. Project Environment **Reports to:** Project Manager **Functional link:** Construction Manager (Back Office) **Interfaces:** Contractors, Project \& Operations teams, HSE, authorities Required Experience 5\+ years in construction coordination (piping \& mechanical) 10\+ years supervisory experience in industrial/Oil \& Gas projects Strong knowledge of prefabrication, erection, commissioning Familiarity with API, ASME, PED standards Solid understanding of Spanish construction regulations \& HSE Skills \& Competencies Leadership \& decision\-making Problem solving \& negotiation Team collaboration \& communication Results\-driven, quality\-focused Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Fluent in Spanish \& English
