We are looking for a Program Manager who will take end\-to\-end responsibility for a major Life Cycle Management (LCM) program within BU MIT for one of our clients. This multi\-year program focuses on modernising automation platforms, OT infrastructure, MES/MOM layers, and related digital systems. In addition to this core assignment, you will also lead automation projects and digital transformation programs for other AGS clients across EMEA. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, political awareness, and technical affinity, especially with automation systems. **What you will do** **Life Cycle Management Program** * Lead the full LCM program, including automation upgrades, obsolescence management, OT/IT lifecycle planning. * Define long\-term roadmaps, transition strategies, and investment planning together with the client. * Coordinate stakeholders across engineering, operations, IT, OT, architecture, cyber security and business. * Manage risks, dependencies, and prioritisation across all LCM workstreams. * Ensure structured governance (SteerCo, recurring alignment meetings, progress reporting, roadmap updates). * Align priorities and secure buy\-in in complex political landscapes. * Translate technical concepts into clear business decisions for senior leaders. * Track budgets, resource planning, capacity, and program forecasts at multi\-stream level. * Escalate proactively when needed and drive issue resolution. **Automation \& Digital Transformation Projects (Multiple Clients)** * Manage or oversee automation projects (PLC/SCADA/DCS migrations). * Lead digital programs/projects for other clients, including MES/MOM, data platforms, IIoT, connectivity, and cyber security. * Coordinate with architects, automation experts, data specialists, MES engineers, system integrators, and suppliers. **What we expect from our new colleague** * Politically intelligent and comfortable navigating complex stakeholder dynamics. * Able to simplify complexity and bring structure in high\-pressure environments. * Strong communicator who can influence without authority and align diverse teams. * Technically literate comfortable discussing automation, IIoT, architectures, MES/MOM, data platforms, and OT/IT. * Strategic in vision but willing to be hands\-on when needed. * Proactive, structured, reliable, and focused on delivering outcomes. **The wish list for a Project Manager** * 5–10 years’ experience in program or project leadership in automation, digitalisation, or Industry 4\.0\. * Strong technical affinity or background in automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS,…). * Experience leading multi\-stream programs within a manufacturing, automation, or OT/IT context. * Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing politically sensitive situations. * Ability to interpret system architectures and understand technical constraints. * Fluent in Spanish and English * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Automation, IT, or similar. * EU citizenship or long\-term EU work permit. * Based in Spain ideally in the area around Barcelona **What We Offer** * Competitive Compensation * Comprehensive health insurance * Learning and development opportunities for professional growth (AG Academy, language courses, training programs, conferences, webinars and mentorship). * Work\-life balance (remote work options, flexible hours). * A supportive, international and rewarding work environment. **Join AG Solution Where Talent Shapes Industry 4\.0** At AG Solution, we build intelligent solutions for the process industry, combining automation, process control, data management, and MES/MOM systems to help manufacturers reach operational excellence.
