Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is an exclusive 5\-star hotel located on Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia, surrounded by iconic modernist architecture, including works by Gaudí. **About the job** Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the **Kitchen Department**, the **Seasonal Cook** is responsible for preparing and presenting high\-quality dishes in line with the hotel’s standards, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and excellence. This role reports to the **Sous Chef / Head Chef**. **As Seasonal Cook, you will be responsible for:** * Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes according to established recipes and standards * Ensuring food quality, freshness and presentation meet luxury expectations * Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workstation * Complying with health, safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) * Supporting the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth operations * Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment **As Seasonal Cook, we expect from you:** * Previous experience as a Cook, ideally in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment * Strong interpersonal and problem\-solving abilities * Highly responsible and reliable * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast\-paced environment * Team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment * Strong attention to detail and passion for gastronomy We are looking for a committed, professional individual with a strong customer orientation and a passion for excellence. **Our commitment to you** **Learning \& Development** Your success is our success.
