As part of the Foundation’s growth process, we seek to hire a Professional Orientation Counsellor to deliver orientation services within the Projecta’t programme at our Barcelona delegation. Projecta’t is a programme promoting orientation and sectoral prospecting activities for active workers, aiming to help them adapt, progress or reorient themselves within the labour market. Key responsibilities of the Orientation Counsellor include: • Information, welcome and initial orientation. – Listening to and empathetically understanding users’ needs. – Identifying interests, skills and professional profiles. • Information and advisory support. – Providing information on training options, competence accreditation and labour market opportunities. – Offering solutions tailored to local realities and users’ profiles. • Accompaniment and follow-up. – Jointly designing with users a training and professional development plan. – Monitoring progress, reviewing and adjusting objectives as needed. • Network collaboration. – Coordinating with other Foundation services—such as Training, Labour Market Prospecting, and Entrepreneurship Support—to ensure comprehensive assistance. • Documentation management. – Supporting the preparation of reports, records and technical documentation required for programme justification and monitoring, assisting the service coordinator in technical coordination tasks. • Quality assurance and continuous improvement. – Participating in team meetings and service improvement processes. – Conducting ongoing monitoring and evaluation of programmes to ensure quality and impact. * Minimum two years’ professional experience. Preference given to candidates with experience in orientation, accompaniment, labour market mediation or similar activities. * Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. * Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy. * Catalan (spoken and written – advanced level). * Spanish (spoken and written – advanced level). * Competencies / knowledge: – Technical competencies: Candidates are expected to possess the following: • Analytical ability to support participants’ decision-making. • Knowledge of the formal education system and local training offerings. • Understanding of the labour market. • Familiarity with job search tools and channels. • Knowledge of psychotechnical assessment tools for participants. • Familiarity with the FPCAT system and the professional orientation protocol model. – Transversal competencies (valued highly): • User-centred orientation. • Results-oriented approach. • Assertive communication. • Empathy. • High-quality documentation management. * Permanent employment contract. * Full-time position. * Gross monthly salary ranging from €1,750 to €1,833. * Additional relevant information: – Observations: Joining a dynamic, growing team full of energy and passion for helping people become who they want to be. – Start date: Immediate. – Working hours: Full-time (Fridays consist of an intensive morning shift). – Workplace location: Barcelona. – Salary: Between €21,000 and €22,000 gross annual salary (12 payments).
