At Iberdrola, we are looking to hire a professional to strengthen our specialized team in Cloud solutions and Data & Analytics platforms, leading key initiatives for the Group’s technological development. What will you do? You will join the team responsible for technically leading technology programs related to Cloud and Data-oriented platforms and solutions. You will drive the definition, implementation, and evolution of cloud-based Data architectures, ensuring projects are executed on robust, secure, and corporate-standard-aligned technological building blocks. Your role will be critical in ensuring every Data/Cloud initiative delivers business value, optimizes costs, complies with security standards, and integrates efficiently into Iberdrola’s global technology ecosystem. Responsibilities and Functions: Technical Leadership in Cloud and Data Solutions * Lead the definition, design, and implementation of Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) oriented toward data and distributed systems. * Coordinate the implementation of cloud-based Data infrastructure, including data lakes, pipelines, advanced analytics, machine learning, and real-time services. * Drive Data/Cloud adoption programs, ensuring alignment with corporate technology strategy. * Design and deploy solutions based on Databricks and other key components of the Data ecosystem. Project Management and Multidisciplinary Coordination * Manage technology projects through project plans focused on maximizing business value. * Coordinate geographically distributed teams across multiple companies, integrating internal and external profiles. * Ensure proper planning, tracking, and delivery of Data/Cloud projects. * Evaluate technological alternatives and their financial impact. Governance, Security, and Technology Standards * Implement Cloud security solutions, posture management, and necessary controls to ensure secure deployments. * Ensure compliance with IT standards, security controls, software development processes, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions). * Supervise proper integration with corporate systems: networking, identities, monitoring, CMDB, SAP platforms, databases, virtualization, etc. Technical Liaison and Advisory Role * Serve as the technical reference for Cloud and Data matters for internal teams, vendors, and business areas. * Advise on the definition of architectures, standards, methodologies, and best practices. * Analyze emerging technology trends and their applicability within the Iberdrola ecosystem. * Facilitate technology decision-making in complex projects. Development of Technical Criteria and Documentation * Define criteria, methodologies, and technical guidelines for Cloud and Data solutions. * Produce technical documentation, architecture manuals, and corporate standards. * Participate in working groups focused on continuous improvement and optimization of technology processes. What Are We Looking For? Education * University degree in Computer Science or scientific-technical fields. * Specialized training in Data solutions (Master’s or postgraduate degree). Essential Technical Knowledge * Experience designing and implementing Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) oriented toward data. * Experience with Cloud Data solutions, especially Databricks. * In-depth knowledge of Cloud components: data lake, data governance, synchronization, batch, real-time, analytics, ML. * Experience in Cloud security, metrics, controls, and posture management. * Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies. * Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions). * Knowledge of Cloud solutions from Microsoft, Amazon, and other providers (Salesforce, ServiceNow). * General knowledge of networking, SAP platforms, databases, virtualization, monitoring, identities, and CMDB. * Understanding of IT standards, security controls, and software development processes. * Knowledge of IT management processes (Systems Plan, dossier management). * Ability to apply technology to business problems and assess financial impact.
